Identity First offers expert guidance to help individuals, families, and teams navigate complex behaviours with confidence. Develop a better understanding of challenging behaviours and establish a consistent approach that promotes positive outcomes. This is a wholistic service that may involve an assessment of needs and abilities (including functional behaviour analysis), coaching and capacity building support, psychoeducation, counselling and referral. Our social worker specialises in neurodiversity affirming behaviour support and a collaborative proactive solutions approach that can improve family functioning, engagement at school and enhance quality of life for the individual. CB Daily Activity funds can be used to access this service. Identity First do not offer specialist behaviour intervention (Improved Relationships funding) or behaviour support plan writing. Our Social Worker can assist with NDIS reports or supporting documentation to help advocate for this funding, if it is assessed to be necessary and appropriate.
